You can’t buy love…
But if you could what would it be, and would you add tax?
And how far pass your season before your heart hits the sales racks?
And is your love art, or consumption produce?
Would you make sure the buyer put your love to good use?

Too bad love ain’t for sale…
Cuz some of you girls give it away for free,
And these boys blind you with a dream in exchange for your heart and then use for their own greed…
If you could buy love, You would know how much yours is worth to your “soul mate”
Or you could rent it out, shop around and let your soul mate rotate…

If you and your love couldn’t match the price would you both wait?
Would you love them enough to donate?

This is just rhetorical of course; Cuz you can’t bag love even tho you can love a bag,
And your doesn’t come with a price tags. ..

  1. Your poem was quite evocative. Keep up the good work!

Love given freely is the best,
Not subject to any commercial test.

    Traded freely on the market,
No valet, you have to self park it.

Love is as fickle as wall street and,
A truly interested buyer is hard to meet.

I especially love this part: “Too bad love ain’t for sale…
Cuz some of you girls give it away for free,
And these boys blind you with a dream in exchange for your and then use for their own greed…”
    Unfortunately is the ugly truth…
